We were inspired to create something bright and eye-catching. After doing research, we discovered that some very powerful theatre promotional materials are created with clean and simple illustrations. We created something strong, bold, fun and a little bit bizarre to show the humour of the production. I wanted to depict how different, and yet the same the two sisters are, almost like a yin and yang effect. The result is a striking image which clearly depicts the strong contrast between the two sisters. Stella, on the left, showing her whimsical side, while Blanche, on the right, showing her more methodical personality.
