The YMCA, aims to help build young people up and empower them in meaningful ways that assist them to create a thriving and sustainable future. Their goal is to build a healthy community and they believe that starts with strong young leaders. The ExperienceU program focuses on skill-building, community engagement, and leadership development for youth aged 13 to 15. Leaders spend time connecting and learning through multiple subjects including culinary skills, social media/video editing, and urban outdoor exploration. This program is run by senior youth for youth! We were excited to have the opportunity to work on this project and showcase this fun and engaging program. This was a large collaboration with the YMCA, sagecomm, and Edward Platero. Working with such a talented team and telling such an amazing story was a true inspiration.
